The Pre-Sales Engineer will prepare cost estimates and bill of materials. Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment and applications in the customer environment. Design customer specific converged product solutions for clients and deliver technical and sales oriented presentations that are designed to educate and persuade customer audiences.
• Translate client business requirements into technical solutions. • Assist Account Executives to develop responses to client proposals and requests. • Meet with clients to understand their current technical environment key business issues and future technology requirements. • Deliver technical and sales oriented presentations regarding product solutions. • Develop and present technical designs to clients including network analysis Visio diagrams configurations and design validations. • Coordinate new technology trials pilots demonstrations and beta tests at client sites. • Keep updated on solutions products and services and teach the sales team and other engineers about new features. • Analyze review and determine the impact that new products and technologies will have on existing client networks. • Provide technical support for clients and sales team. Act as the main technical advisor for client accounts. • Build and maintain relationships with technical decision makers. • Develop and implement plans verbal and written to ensure clients have the technical tools and information required to be self-sufficient.
