Cincinnati , OH , United States  

Work directly with the manager, maintenance, and engineering on implementation and progressive work of all capital projects. Ensure timelines for projects are created and published.

Work with Project Leaders to ensure timelines are continually updated and communicated.   Position reports to Manager, Maintenance and Engineering  

• Work with independent project leaders on all Capital Projects.
• Assist Project leaders with communicating with cross functional teams.
• Assist with developing project charter.
• Communicate projects with all plant departments.
• Ensure all issues and barriers regarding projects are communicated with all departments and solutions are found.
• Team boundaries Identified and guidelines put in place.
• Ensure communication from Project leaders are provided to the floor associates, will be responsible to maintain project boards within the plant to show progress on plant projects.
• Must be proficient in Windows programs and Microsoft project
• Manages all details of the capital project process; Acts as liaison between and works closely with sales, Research and Development, engineering, and plant operations to integrate and align new product startups
• Leads/facilitates capital project meetings; assigns and manages workflow to ensure project management elements are tracked and executed in support of prescribed timelines
• Facilitate routine meetings with functional departments (Quality, Maintenance, Operations, Finance) to identify and resolve emerging issues which could impact project timelines
• External interaction can include: equipment vendors, raw and packaging suppliers, contractors, engineering services contractors, local/state/federal government agencies, and co-manufacturing organizations.
• Adopt plant LEAN/Continuous Improvement methodologies and incorporates into daily work processes
• Project Management: Will manage projects from concept through start up phases 

• May be required to work off shifts, overtime and/or weekends
• Demonstrated project management skills required
• Operations experience or knowledge of food manufacturing concepts preferred; ideally, comes from manufacturing environment and understands process flow and drivers of manufacturing excellence
• Ability to grasp modern technology quickly; Good analytical ability
