The Reliability Technician is responsible for supporting reliability testing of power systems and the major sub assemblies data recording analysis trouble shooting test stand fabrication and test monitoring. • Support new and ongoing reliability testing. Data collection and analysis using test sheets MS Excel and Access. • Update weekly reliability run charts, support report writing and presentation of test results. • Support problem solving of reliability testing failures, trouble shoot, and repair of system and test stands to the modular level. • Fabrication installation and set-up of test stands. Debug of test stands and test systems. • Test maintenance including refueling cleaning filters etc. • Work with other Engineers and Technicians in a team environment. Run qualification tests on systems under test. • Work within a matrix organization, support multiple tasks in parallel, accomplish assigned task with minimal direct supervision.
Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience. • A solid team-player capable of communicating concepts clearly and concisely in written and verbal form. • Familiar with use of basic measurement equipment calipers micrometers etc. • Familiar with the use of trouble shooting equipment and instrumentation multi-meters etc. • Understands electrical schematics wiring diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams. • Comfortable with disassembly and reassembly of systems and test benches. • Knowledge and comfortable working with mechanical and electrical assemblies • Knowledge and comfortable with the use of hand and power tools.
• EDUCATION: AS in Engineering Technology or equivalent.
