The Infection Control Practitioner will act as the sole practitioner directing the facilities infection control program and performing Blood Stream Infection Management, surveillance prevention and control of nosocomial and community acquired infections.
Additional duties include employee health related activities as well as performing data analysis and evaluating effectiveness of infection control measures throughout the hospital and coordinating with 3rd party administrators on workers compensation claims. This position reports to the Director Quality and Risk Management.

Requirements: Demonstrated ability to facilitate process improvement initiatives for health care acquired infection; Employee Health experience is preferred;
Workers compensation familiarity is preferred although not required; Ability to enter and manage data create reports and documentation; A minimum of two years acute care infection control experience; Demonstrated computer literacy in Microsoft Office: Outlook Word Excel Access and PowerPoint; Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
