Manage the functions of the quality improvement program for the assigned state providing support to staff and communicating with department and plan administrative staff to facilitate daily department functions. Strong communication and people management skills; strong computer skills and good analytical and mathematical skills.
Requirements: Equivalent to four (4) year education in a professional clinical or nursing field. State registered nursing license and Professional in Health Care Quality certification preferred. 5 - 10 years of quality improvement managed care and management experience. Clinical nursing knowledge of National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) accreditation process a plus. Thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical field such as clinical nursing and application theory.
