Position will report directly to the Vice President of Purchasing and Materials Management that in turn reports to the CFO and CEO. This role does not include purchasing or contracts – but requires expertise in hospital distribution supply chain space planning warehousing and ideally transportation services. Along with the FTEs there is a support system that includes one Manager three Supervisors and multiple Coordinators.
Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service team building people and communications skills Experience developing and implementing departmental operating and capital equipment budgets; Demonstrated skills in management proposal writing project management and meeting established timelines etc. Minimum of three years materials management experience in Director level leadership capacity Proven staff management and development; Acute care hospital or related healthcare environment experience Operating Room (OR) supply chain experience desired Proven analytical skills.
• EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Materials Management or Business Administration preferred;
