Conduct patient interview and perform appropriate physical exam to establish the provider/patient relationship and develop the patient’s plan of care. Order and interpret diagnostic test,and lab results. Provide education to patient regarding results.
• Diagnose and make decisions about management and treatment of the patient’s care. • Prescribe therapy and/or medication per physician’s algorithms • Documentation: Provide accurate and thorough documentation of the entire office visit in a timely fashion. Note completion expected within 48 hours of office visit. • Perform therapeutic procedures-such as medication injections, and, trigger point injections. • Supervise and coordinate appropriate duties of non-licensed clinical staff. • Participate in clinical education opportunities • Maintain licensing and prescribing duties by ensuring renewals and required continued education is completed. • Practice in a safe and compliant manner, in accordance to practice policies and protocols as well as state/national regulatory licensing guidelines.
Requirements: - State Physician Assistant license or State Nurse Practitioner license eligible - Primary care/family medicine experience required Competitive compensation based on education and experience
• EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program or National Nurse Practitioner certification required
