Demonstrated success with evaluating planning coordinating and tracking resources and a solid background in system design business analysis and application development within a structured systems development life cycle. The Merchandising Systems group is a multi-platform environment dealing with a variety of technologies.
Responsible for translating the complex business problems of a large organization into technical solutions and serving as liaison between the business side and a development team. Experience with merchandising systems • Analysis and design experience using structured methodology: • Ability to create execute and communicate design specifications. • Ability to design effective systems based on user requirements. • Capable of documenting existing applications. • Strong ability to write thorough system and unit test plans. • Very strong communication skills to act as liaison with internal and external partners. • Retail Supply Chain Purchasing/Sourcing and/or Inventory Management business experience. • Some programming and testing experience (platform not important). • Some enterprise-level relational database experience • Strong desire to perform business analysis
Requirements: • Analysis and design experience using an agile (or similar) methodology. • Experience leading projects. Superior presentation skills. • Proficiency with MS-Excel MS-PowerPoint MS-Access and/or MS-Project. • Experience managing contractor/consulting relationships. • Reports project related progress for team members and self to management.
