Maintain advanced level of knowledge in latest developments in the security industry through professional associations trade journals and networking. Work with the sales engineers to help sell security solutions actively supporting account managers in defining needs and influencing customer decisions. * Must have a strong understanding of security strategy and multiple years of experience delivering security consulting to customers. * Must have a record of success in sales presentation documentation and consulting service delivery. * Act as subject matter expert in a specific solution focus area and must be able to participate in a large range of security consulting projects. * Develop strong customer relationships and trust to secure future business * Deliver security related consulting services which result in a high level of customer satisfaction * Develop project pans and specifications * Assist contribute and develop proposals and project work plans
Requirements: * 2+ year pre-sales support for IT security products/services * Must have sales-oriented experience and mentality * 4+ years in IT security * Must be able to communicate in both technical terms and business terms to sell solutions to non-technical executives * Prefer consulting experience in a Big Four firm or equivalent * One or more certifications including: CISSP CISA CISM and/or GIAC * Willing to participate in industry groups such as ISSA ISACA and/or other security associations * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to travel up to 25%
