Excellent technical knowledge of PC and desktop hardware including monitors desktop laptops printers and peripherals. Technical knowledge of PC internal components including CD-Rom Hard drives memory CPU etc. Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience. Ability to travel locally.
Requirements • College degree in the field of computer technology and/or years equivalent work • 4-6 years experience in a Technical Support- Customer Support environment • Certifications in Comp Tia A+ MCP and/or Network + • Possess warranty certifications- desktop laptop and printer devices used in the business environment (IBM and HP), A+ Network + MCSE preferred • Working experience and knowledge of HP Web Jetadmin and using its reporting features • CISCO Certifications are a plus, working conditions are normal for an office environment • Majority of the time will be spent on the phone and sitting at a computer. • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects such as computers and peripherals, ability to lift 40lbs. Employees will be required to follow any other job related instructions and to perform other job related duties requested by their supervisor. Salary based on experience and background.
