Facility provides specialized care services to patients who are critically ill have multiple complications and/or failures that require continued hospitalization beyond the acute care setting.
Perform healthcare-associated infection surveillance. Participates in outbreak investigations. Conducts educational programs for staff Provides consultation to all departments on infection control issues Assists in the development/revision of infection control policies.
Requirements: • A minimum of 3 years infection control experience • Bachelors of Science (BSN) in nursing with a masters degree (MSN) preferred • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills Computer experience with word processing graphics and database programs • CIC (Certified Infection Control) preferred.
