Provide strategic leadership and direction in Quality Performance Improvement and Outcomes Management. This will include: Building and fostering key relationships while developing and directing the implementation of PI strategies to support the organizations strategic plan and goals.
Providing direct oversight for all quality activities within the healthcare system Providing related education and support: Reporting to the Board of Trustees Quality Committee in the areas of Patient Safety Quality Improvement Performance Improvement Patient Satisfaction Public Reporting of Quality Metrics and JCAHO.
This position will interface with all levels of management and works directly with the Trustee Chair of the Board Quality Committee. There are 6 direct reports with another 10 dotted line reports encompassing quality performance improvement patient safety and outcomes management personnel.
Requirements: Masters Degree in health related field required (i.e. Masters of Nursing Masters of Health Administration Masters of Public Health) Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts or eligible required 8+ years of progressive management experience with demonstrated leadership ability to build and foster strategic relationships and develop and implement strategies Experience with compliance regulatory and working with accrediting bodies CPHQ certification required Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred Strong analytical communication and IT skills necessary.
