Full Time Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care services to perform pulmonary treatments such as O2 administration and titration, nebulizer, inhalers, postural drainage, pulse oximetry, percussion, and airway management.
The Respiratory Therapist will perform respiratory evaluations, documentation of proper medical records including treatment, outcomes, and evaluations. Will work as part of a team of physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to maintain resident care
Create audit charts and maintain of CPAP and BiPAP equipment, will determine the requirements for treatment, the method and duration of therapy, medications and dosages compatible with physician's orders, and precautions to be taken.Will perform bronchial-pulmonary drainage and assist or instruct residents in performance of breathing exercises. Will perform pulmonary function and adjust equipment to obtain optimum results in therapy. Will provide emergency care, including artificial respiration and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation
2 years prior experience in the hospital, sub acute or skilled care setting
