Responsible for developing departmental polices and procedures handling compliance related issues serving on appropriate committees working directly with physicians and performing related human resource functions.Position reports to an Administrative Director.
Requirements: - Three + years successfully supervising managing or directing a medical records department in an acute care hospital environment - Excellent working knowledge of Health Information Management Components including electric medical records - Experience with the implementation of electronic health records a plus - Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.
