Perform upper and lower arterial and venous vascular studies including carotid studies (with measurements and manipulation) augmentations and segment pressures. Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients.
The Sonographer is responsible for integration and consolidation of CNVC systems to provide high quality, safe, and cost effective utilization of resources. The Sonographer must have an understanding of and be able to effectively utilize all required applications of CIS and CCW.
Contributes to continual process improvement and implementation of training programs for new employees. Maintains control of utilization of all ultrasound equipment and interfaces with physicians regarding department processes.
Communicates responsibility and has continual interaction with the physicians and staff to ensure effective patient care systems.
Requirements: Registered Vascular Technician credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Registered Vascular Specialist credentialed by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International. CPR certification required. Must have maintained a State License as a general radiographer and/or is a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) through ARDMS. Very flexible on hours/shifts
