Develop estimates of key financial statement items including unpaid claims liability estimates premium deficiency reserves active life reserves deferred acquisition costs and loss adjustment expense * Establishing the rates rating methodology and underwriting criteria for the health business and assist with product development and benefit design * Assist with financial forecasting for the medical expense component * Assist in the impact analysis and structure of provider contracts * Leadership to ensure compliance with the Office of Insurance Regulation Requirements: * 3 plus years of experience in the health insurance field * Experience participating on teams of four to five functional areas that requires actuarial support Business Specific Criteria * Actuarial experience related to PPO or HMO products
