Provide guidance and ensure program adherence to financial regulations and policies. Gathers; analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans acquisition activity trended future requirements and operating forecasts
Perform a wide variety of detailed financial and budgetary activities in the day to day support of a Program Management Office (PMO) that is assisting a Government client in the management of a large automation and modernization program. - Compiles and reviews budgets to control funds and provide for proper financial administration - Prepare and analyze comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds and determines rationale for variances between costs and budget - Guide Earned Value Management (EVM) data collection and reporting - Assist in the development of presentations for briefings and executive presentations
Requirements: Candidate must possess sound knowledge of principals of accounting financial management business processes and budget forecasting. Minimum of 9 years experience in financial management and budgetary analysis with emphasis in government contracting in an IT environment. Knowledge of federal appropriations regulations and policies are required as is a professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
• EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or higher in finance accounting or similar field is required.
