Work on cost system maintenance, new product costing, provide cost estimates, track/approve changes, and assist with quarterly cost rollups. Assist in month-end closing process including journal entries, reconciliations, analysis, database loads, and reporting.
Perform margin analysis, PPV analysis, review manufacturing variances and inventory adjustments, and work with various departments to ensure integrity of manufacturing, inventory, sales, and purchasing transactions.
Track, compile, and reconcile fixed asset payment activity, work with other departments to segregate into asset classes, disposals, and assist with fixed asset database and reporting.
Requirements: Bachelors’ degree in Accounting with 0 to 3 years of experience or Associates Degree in Accounting with 3 plus years of related experience. Need excellent organizational skills and interest/experience in cost accounting and manufacturing. Must be proficient in Excel & Word. Assist external auditors during the conduct of the annual audit examination.
Create and process journal entries complete monthly reconciliations and also solve accounting problems on a daily basis, accounting (debits and credits) and analyze accounts. At least two years of senior level accounting and financial reporting experience
Experience in generating accurate reliable and timely financial statements utilizing financial accounting systems and software Experience preparing bank reconciliations journal entries and perform other accounting functions with little supervision Excellent communication skills
