Develop and implement of policies and procedures designed to minimize the state and local tax burden of all companies. Perform technical research and analysis to determine the proper treatment for a variety of issues, other special projects as needed.
• Coordinate all state and local tax compliance and related tax accounting, prepare and review of all state and local tax compliance returns. •Must be able to maintain good relationships with the State and local government officials. • Assist tax management and business unit leaders in providing tax planning related to state and local issues as well as in the review of contracts with state and local implications. • Assign manage and review work produced by tax accountants.
Requirements: • 2 years accounting experience with at least 2 plus years relevant tax experience. • CPA preferred. • Partnership experience preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to supervise and educated tax accountants. • Ability to establish and meet deadlines. • Ability to perform technical tax research in a variety of subject areas. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects.
• EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in accounting, business related field or CPA
