Utilize epidemiology principles to monitor the delivery of patient care and investigate potential outbreaks of infection. Registered Nurse (RN, MT, MPH) infection prevention and control. Work on infection risk assessment surveillance prevention and related control strategies.
Coach lead and mentor the infection control practitioners at all facilities. Work closely with as Infectious Disease Physicians throughout the hospital. Position reports to the Case Management and Infection Control director.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in healthcare related field required Masters degree preferred - Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Technologist (MT) or Master of Public Health / Epidemiology preferred - Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in the State (or eligible) required - Progressive related experience of acute care infection prevention and control policies and procedures - Certified in Infection Control (CIC) required - Excellent statistical analytical and interpersonal skills - Experience with local state JCAHO and OSHA regulations and compliance.
