The Field Service Repair Technician or Repair Engineer to interpret blue prints and drawings, follow verbal and written technical instructions.   Participates in on-call service and installation rotation as indicated by director.

Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on infection prevention, sterilization, surgical positioning, lighting and ancillary equipment to include Low, Medium, High and Specialty groups. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Good trouble shooting skills. Drug screening and background checks will be completed on candidates.  


- Must have field service experience working on sterilizer equipment.
- Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Possess working knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Minimum five years of hospital or manufacturers service experience.
- Manufacturers Certification of two priority types of Specialty equipment.
- Superior knowledge of multi-vendor sterilization, washing / decontamination equipment devices and their uses.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, physics, chemistry, optics, pneumatics, hydraulics, hospital structure and regulatory requirements (as applicable).
- Company vehicle and expense reimbursement salary based on experience.
- Excellent computer skills as required to operate a Computer Maintenance Management System and common office software, must have excellent MS Office skills.

• EDUCATION: Associates degree in either Biomedical/Electrical/Computer/ IT Information Technology or Journeyman papers (if applicable) or equivalent military training and/or experience and associated training on steam powered devices is required.
