Manage , coordinate, evaluate and report on the educational activities of the Epidemiology/Infection Prevention and Control Program. Will coordinate efforts with Employee Health Patient Safety Risk Management and other clinical areas to ensure a safe environment for patients employees associates volunteers physicians and visitors.
Requirements: - Minimum of five years clinical experience in Nursing - Two plusyears of proven leadership experience in acute care hospital infection prevention required - CIC certification as offered by the Certification Board for Infection Control (CBIC) highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to function and communicate with all professional disciplines in an appropriate and effective manner is essential.
