Successfully build relationships with the territory rep agencies top engineering and architectural firms and their principles throughout the Southeast region Become the technical expert and resource for contractors distributors and engineers. Consult on job layouts creating presentations proposals and detailed specifications that convert successfully to orders. Develop project specific spec bid buy and closing strategies that will drive sale to achieve 20% annual sales goals.
 
Actively follow-up on leads and system projects in the territory (job tracking) and communicate information on out-of-territory specifications. Active coordination with Residential and Window Systems Products sales teams and channels for products used in Multi-Family Unit style projects. Product training and sales calls with critical customers to insure a high degree of product knowledge and enhanced ability to close orders.

Provide timely market and competitive feedback to senior management and proactively work to resolve any channel conflict or customer dissatisfaction. Play and integral part in the successful launch of new products and technologies into the market and actively execute and implement corporate initiatives. Participate in local trade shows and trade organizations this includes attending meetings and conducting presentations

 Requirements
* 10 years of sales experience
* Experience selling commercial systems and products through at a specifiers such as consulting engineers reps distributors and dealers
* Proven experience identifying new business opportunities.
* A track record of creating and implementing innovative sales strategies that demonstratively drove revenue profit and growth
* A proven track record of leadership and outstanding achievement
* At least 5 years of sales with in switch gear lighting/electrical products and devices
* Proven success resolving channel conflict teaching training and communicating a technical product
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Affiliations with National and Regional organizations such as IES USGBC AIA NECA
* Experience managing reps and factory sales people
