The experienced OR Nurse Manager/ Nurse Manager will be a key member of the leadership team that will develop, implement and evaluate staffing plan that meets patient care needs. Allocate human material and fiscal resources effectively and efficiently. Work collaboratively with other disciplines and departments to develop and evaluate patient care programs
Facilitate both clinical education and clinical investigation to advance the art and science of professional nursing practice. Promote the development of other nurse professionals. Ensure consistency in the implementation of the philosophy of nursing and standards of nursing practice.
Requirements: Demonstrated clinical competence in the area of nursing practice and demonstrated ability in managerial competency Demonstrated track record in staff and leadership selection and development with the ability to lead change Demonstrated and comprehensive knowledge of Patient Safety and Team Concept Comprehensive knowledge in a peri-operative setting Comfortable with leading edge technology and background in peri-operative system implementations Skilled in budget development and management. • EDUCATION : Current nursing registration (RN Registered Nurse) in the state of Texas or eligible. M.S.N. (Masters of Science Nursing) in nursing administration or a clinical specialty highly preferred
