Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance. Identify need for and make referral to other medical professionals as needed to meet the comprehensive needs of the patient. Instruct, educate and train patients and caregivers in the skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology
Requirements: Occupational Therapist license, plus one to two years experience in a clinical setting. Must maintain current CPR certification. This is an Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm shift. Must good organizational and communication skills. Ability to function with minimal supervision. Ability to assess patients physical and emotional status and environmental safety. Accurately recognize report and document changes. Knowledgeable in accepted principles of occupational therapy.
