Oversee the innovation and ideation program processes with the designated business area leads. Initiate contact with prospects to gain insights and define potential interests
Manage new business opportunities Screen incoming new business opportunities and manage their evaluation. -Manage relationship with submitters from initial contact to either termination or contractual discussions. -Conduct independent market research and/or due diligence on prospects (or products being investigated for acquisition). -Market research in sectors defined as prime areas of interest in the Strategic Plan. -Identify potential purchasers through market research and direct contact -Prepare and present offering memorandums -Conduct business negotiations with prospective buyers -Manage the Due Diligence processes conducted by Buyer -Manage the timely completion of all legal documentation and requirements -Oversee any transition service teams as necessary and required
Requirements: -Minimum 5 years in transactional role (e.g. merger acquisitions) or Corporate Development - At least 5 years in a management / leadership / initiator role - 5 to 7 years of experience in the medical products industry highly preferred -International (European) experience and affinity a plus -A combination of Industry and Professional Service (investment banking management consulting) experience a plus -Hyperion Strategic finance (ALCAR) valuation software experience a plus
• EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in business and an MBA in Finance Strategy or Marketing
