Identify products outside core competency and assist in conversion of those products as well as the identifying and closing orders for services to support products in all areas. Identify target customers for promotional programs and product launches from assigned third party suppliers. Proactively contribute the marketing sales and technical support required to close account conversions and project sales opportunities.
• Sales and marketing resource for sales of all Machine Safety Products (i.e. mats bars light curtains photo-electrics and hazardous area containment products) and assigned third party products.
• Forecast assigned product sales to target customers within assigned geography.
• Develop and execute the business plan for assigned products.
• Motivate and lead outside sales reps to proactively implement the business plan.
• Promote the value-add of assigned products in competitive situations.
• Demonstrate technology solutions for customer applications.
• Identify customer needs propose solutions and close orders for assigned products.
• Utilize available sales tools to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process.
• Train inside and outside sales force as required to maintain high level of competency within the sales organization for assigned products.

Qualifications Required:
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively to engineering staffs MIS people and management. 
• Experience in sales of technical products.
• Ability to understand the business impact of automation technology and articulate it effectively to high level management.
• The ability to effectively listen communicate gain consensus and influence a customers buying habits.

• EDUCATION: Bachelors
