Evaluate electrical and mechanical characteristics of systems and/or integrated circuits components sub-components and systems to determine the cause of failure including the verification of analog and digital performance. Analyzes failure reports and recommends corrective action. Develops methods processes procedures and equipment that will improve the failure analysis process and/or reduce failures.
Requirements: Chemical Engineer experience with strong controls instrumentation and field application experience (5-7 Years) in a Chemical Plant with process control experience. Must be a self starter and work well with others. Must be able to optimize control loops for energy and other cost savings. Must have small project experience Must be able to work with the I&E department and electrical construction for project installation. Must be able to troubleshoot Field Instrumentation.
